A Dalian bokkstore

I asked him, who was a Chinese member of the same project, to take us to a bookstore in Dalian because I would like to buy children's books for a souvenir. The store was a large building just like a Japanese big bookstore Kinokuniya in Shinjuke, or Maruzen in Umeda, and had a lot of books. They wrapped items not at the chasier but at the special counter, it was the only difference.

I heard there were few books written about Japan in China. Eventually, I didn't checked that because I searched for books for children. I also saw the stack of books written by Jiang Zemin, which a Japanese newspaper reported about it in those days. My guide said that he didn't want to buy it and laughed. Was that a usual attitude in China, I wondered.

Honestly speaking for Chinense economy, ' Does they keep it ? ' is my concern. After checking in a hotel, I couldn't get out of my room because the doorknob inside dropped down. I saw there were tall buildings along the streets and high-tech park area was very wide and clean. On the other hand, people supporsed to be from a country, sat down along the roads.

They said Dalian was the Chinese sightseeing area. I read the articles Lushun restricted area was lessened. I would like to visit again, for sightseeing.

Judgement needs relative

A Japanese TV news reported before WS that the American newspaper said Dice-k did the least. It manifested the difference about his reputation between U.S. and Japan.

Viewers can judge under their own responsibility if they can see and read articles from several sources. Even if someone's hope disguises as the fair article, we can detect it by comparing to another article.

However, we may have fixed concept if we are usually in flood of the same one-way reports. They broadcasts that a popular golf player's awful record and doesn't mention a top player in a tournament. 'It's the normal report about a golf tournament isn't it ?', we will think it someday.

There are three articles A,B, and C. We should think the truth is the center of the circle of them, not one of them. Furthermore, we should not think the rest are the serving of the truly one.

The state of nature

The concept of the state of nature reflects the idea people think or feel 'natural' in their own society.
The order depends on it.

a Halloween's costume

I will attend a Halloween's party on Saturday this week.

I will have to dress up, but I wonder what kind of costume I'm going to wear. How about disguising myself by a typical American Mike Smith disguised as a typical Japanese businessman ? Then, I will just wear a usual business suit.

I hear American people are willing to wear an attractive costume not only children but also adults. The party is held by the Americans. One of person in charge said the party was the just the American party. I'm looking forward to it, though I worry about my costume.

weekend

It's raining. It's troublesome that I have to go to work with my carrying-bag after checking out.

I've stayed the same business hotel in Osaka on business for over six months. I can go back home on weekend, so I'm looking forward to it.

vacant daily work

My project has hit the rock, so I've wasted time to make some unprofitable documents every day.

Today there was a regular meeting, which has canceled for some time past. The chairperson reported the situation, but it turned out that nothing made clear and the vacant work continued for some time in the future.

I have to make my daily work more meaningful one. It depends on me.

vegetable

"Green food makes me want to throw up!", my son often says and refuses to eat vegetable. Honestly speaking, I also didn't eat vegetable just like him. Is the taste an inheritable trait?

Fight with respect

A winner should show respect for an opponent. It's foul that a victor shows the exaggerated victory pose, just like Japanese swimmer Koichi Kitajima. His attitude frustrates me even if he establishs the world-recoed time.

Daiki Kameda lost a split decision to the defending champion Daisuke Naito in the WBC Flyweight belt bout. His family's disgustful attitude also irritates me. It must turn out tarmishing their good name and reputation. They shouldn't be well-conducted, of course.

Though Daisuke Naito was a funny interviewer, I want the strong winner to be proud with dignity.

The beginning

Let me begin.

This is my English diary aiming at improving my English skills.
Now I'm not so fluent in English, but I want my English to be more subtle and natural.

I would like to write about a hot topic, that attracts me.
